According to the report, Stephen Henderson, Daryne James Deck and Terrance Dale Shields were arrested after deputies were dispatched to the Carson River Park to meet with the theft victim.

Over the past 72 hours, there have been three near fatal overdoses in Douglas County due to people ingesting these pills. DSCO patrol deputies quickly administering Naloxone, which counteracts the effects of opioids like fentanyl, to save the victims.

According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to a residence on the report of a woman sustaining injuries to her face.
The woman told dispatch she had a busted lip and had been battered by her boyfriend. She advised the man had left the residence approximately twenty minutes before she called 911.
Update: Nevada Department of Corrections says 'smoke' was steam from broken steam valve at Warm Springs Prison

Multiple units of firefighters, first responders and sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the Warm Springs Prison on report of a structure fire inside the prison Friday afternoon.
According to dispatch the fire was reported to be near class rooms, and inmates were being secured while responders were enroute.

Breaking: Car chase occurring now between Carson City and Douglas County
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 05/01/2020 - 11:57amA car chase involving a stolen vehicle began just before 12 p.m. Friday afternoon on Carson Street.
The driver of the stolen vehicle led deputies on a pursuit going up to speeds of 80 mph heading south on Carson Street into Douglas County.
Spooner Junction was closed at 11:50.
At 11:54 deputies reported a hand was waving outside of the sunroof, appearing to show something deputies could not identify.
At 11:55 the chase was approaching Mica Drive.
At 11:57 the chase passed Stephanie Lane.
At 11:58 the vehicle turned East on Johnson Lane.
Carson City deputies arrest man for domestic violence after little boy calls 911 asking deputies to help his mom
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 05/01/2020 - 9:46am— A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested on domestic battery first and probation violation after a small child called 911 to say his mother was hurt.
Anthony Robert Diaz was arrested after deputies went to a residence in the 1400 block of E. Long Street and knocked on the door. A small child answered the door and told deputies to hurry up and come up stairs to help his mom.
Deputies followed the little boy upstairs and noticed a male subject exit the first bedroom upstairs. Deputies told the man, later identified as Diaz, to go and speak to another deputy on scene.
