Movie Review: 'Rise of Planet of the Apes' best film of the summer so far

"The Rise of the Planet of the Apes,' now playing at the Fandango Galaxy cineplex in Carson City, may well be the best of the summer popcorn fare. I've always liked Dean Heller. We might disagree politically, but my interactions with him have always been friendly. He seems like a truly nice person, the opposite of the what we see in some other Nevada politicians.

But watching him this week at the NNDA breakfast reminded me that Dean's ambition is clearly more important than adherence to truth.

Editorial: Nugget Project: No new answers. Only more questions.

Editorial by Dave Morgan

An article in the Nevada Appeal this morning attempts to get new information from the Nugget Project’s “go to guy,” Steve Neighbors. Neighbors, who is now the owner of the Nugget, is quoted as saying that the project still lacks a developer to shoulder the “private industry” half of the project. That’s about all that’s new from Neighbors, that they STILL don’t have a private partner.

Comment on Commentary from Supervisor Pete Livermore: “Let the people vote on the Nugget Project” by Dave Morgan

As usual, clear and to the point. Yes building program operations costs a lot of money, whether a recreation center or a library.

Comment on Stabbing at Hwy 50E after hours dance hall by Dave Morgan

Well Kowalski I feel your angst, but law enforcement can’t just crash a party unless they have probable cause that a crime is being commited.
