Stimulus Program Information
The coronavirus relief bill passed March 27 by Congress provides payments to individuals who make less than $100,000 a year. The payment total $1,200 for each adult who makes $75,000 or less, plus $500 per child. The payment amounts decrease if you make between $75,000 and $99,000. The income is determined by your latest tax return filed with the IRS. It will use your 2019 taxes if you have filed them already, or your 2018 taxes if you haven't. Nevada governor, DMV grant 90-day license and registration extensions

Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles have issued an automatic 90-day extension for expiring driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations and other DMV documents. Governor Sisolak signed a Declaration of Emergency authorizing the extension March 20.

Carson City man arrested for lewdness with a child, stolen credit cards, obstruction and more
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 02/29/2020 - 11:18amA 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the area of 2nd and Curry on four felony counts including two fugitive from justice warrants for lewdness with a child and obstruction, one count of using a false ID to avoid prosecution, and one count of obtaining or possessing credit cards without consent.
According to the report, Gary Pedrucci was arrested after Special Enforcement Team deputies were traveling south on Curry Street and saw an SUV partially in the roadway for north and south traffic.

Suspect who stole purse, credit cards from car at daycare center sought by Carson City detectives

The vehicle is a tan or beige 2010-2012 Mercedes SUV, with dark tinted windows. The vehicle was without a front license plate and its back plate is possibly California. The vehicle circled the daycare parking lot multiple times, where the suspect then is believed to have parked across the street before entering the victim's vehicle.

Holly the Horse is a 16 X 20 painting and it will take approximately 3 hours to paint. We’ll be using acrylics. We will have refreshments during a couple of drying times. If you would like to bring a covered dish to share, please do or, feel free to bring your own light snack. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
