October gaming revenue climbs in Carson City, Lake Tahoe but down statewide
Casinos in Carson City, Carson Valley, Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County except Stateline saw gaming revenue, also called "win" at $9,877.62 for the month of October. South Shore Lake Tahoe's gaming win was $19,500,080.
Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,021,909,865 for the month of October 2019. This amounts to a 3.85 percent decrease compared to October 2018, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,062,880,161. For the fiscal year — July 1, 2019 through October 31, 2019 — gaming win has increased 2.47 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County all saw positive gaming revenue for the month. Las Vegas and the downtown strip saw declines of 5.12 percent and 9.25 percent respectively.
