Thanksgiving Turkey Drop for Carson City, Douglas families in need happening Friday at Max Casino
The Salvation Army serving Carson City and Douglas County is seeking donations of Thanksgiving turkeys for families in need, and will be collecting them Friday at Max Casino in Carson City.
Each year hundreds of needy families depend on The Salvation Army for their Thanksgiving dinner. The organization will be accepting turkey donations during its annual Turkey Drop held at Max Casino located at 900 S Carson Street from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020.
The Turkey Drop will be broadcast live on K-Bull 98.1 FM and KOH 780 a.m. The Salvation Army will accept turkeys, nonperishables and monetary gifts, so go see them and bring a bird to help feed those in need this Thanksgiving.
