Carson City deputies arrest man suspected of overnight vehicle burglaries
UPDATE: Carson City deputies arrested a man Wednesday night in connection with a string of vehicle thefts overnight after authorities learned of his whereabouts. Donald Ray McNeill, 45, of Carson City, faces felony charges related to possession of stolen property, vehicle burglary and parole violation, said Carson City Sheriff's Sgt. Scott McDaniel.
McNeill was found to be in possession of stolen property associated with the vehicle thefts, said McDaniel. He had a prior conviction for burglary and was on parole for that. Bail: $45,274.
During the investigation it was determined that a person believed to be involved as a second suspect was not involved in the thefts, said McDaniel.

Carson City sheriff’s detectives are looking for two men believed to have broken into at least six vehicles in the area of Palo Verde Drive and East Robinson street overnight.
The vehicle burglaries happened between 11 p.m. Tuesday night at 5:30 Wednesday morning, said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detective David LeGros.
