Carson City man facing child porn charges arrested in Hawaii
Patrick Jason Williams was arrested by Hawaii Island police on an extradition warrant. He appeared Tuesday before 3rd Circuit Judge Glenn Hara, according to West Hawaii Today.
Williams, 39, waived his right to extradition based on a Governor’s Warrant, said Carson City Assistant District Attorney Mark Krueger. Williams is charged by the state of Nevada with 19 counts of possession of visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of persons under 16 years of age.

Williams, who had lived in Carson City in the 3000 block of Thurman Circle, was picked up on the big Island of Hawaii where his mother lives.
“We have obtained a Governor’s Warrant to ensure the extradition of Mr. Williams to Carson City to face charges for child pornography and are awaiting a report of an examination of Mr. William’s computer and depending on the outcome of the examination report, we may file additional charges,” said Krueger.
Williams was denied bail in Hawaii and will be extradited where he has amount of $150,000, said Krueger.
According to Nevada Revised Statutes, a first offense for the charges Williams faces is a category B felony punishable by not less than a year in prison, a maximum term of not more than 6 years imprisonment, and a fine of up to $5,000. Any subsequent offense is a category A felony punishable by not less than a year in prison, with a maximum sentence of life imprisonment with the possibility of parole and a fine of up to $5,000.
