Carson City area casinos see 15.6 percent boost in May gaming revenue
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe report a “gaming win” of $9,931,012 for the month, an increase of 15.58 percent from May 2017.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,044,079,556 in May. This amounts to a 5.29 percent increase compared to May 2017, when licensees reported a gaming win of $991,594,550.
For the fiscal year (July 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018), gaming win has increased 3.14 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos in North Lake Tahoe saw a 25.10 percent increase, and south shore casinos at Stateline saw a 1.14 percent “gaming win” increase for the month.
