Carson City sheriff's arrest log: Four jailed Sunday on disorderly, obstructing charges
Four men were arrested on misdemeanor charges Sunday night including disorderly conduct and obstructing after officers were called to an apartment complex at 20 College Parkway regarding a noise complaint, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, officers were called at 11:12 p.m. to the area in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival a deputy stated he heard subjects making a lot of noise on the west side of the complex.
An officer made contact with three subjects by the J building in the parking lot. All subjects had been drinking. The officer advised the men that the sheriff’s office got a call for a noise complaint and that was the reason why he was there. The men became verbally aggressive and began cussing at the officer. The officer advised he was only there because of the noise complaint and had no intention of taking them to jail or giving citations.
Dispatch checked for warrants on the men. One of the subjects, age 29, had walked away and was stopped by arriving officers. It was learned he was on Alternative Sentencing with a “no drinking” clause.
Two officers made contact with the man who began cussing and not following verbal orders to stop. The other men followed the officers and began cussing at them, the arrest report states. They were told to stay back. The 29-year-old was placed in a patrol car and the others became unruly. More backup officers were called. At no time did any of those arrested follow verbal commands, the arrest report states.
The 29-year-old provided a preliminary breath test at jail with a .196. He faces charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing and resisting an officer and probation violation.
The three others, ages 19, 28, and 22, each were arrested on charges of obstructing and disorderly conduct. Bail for each, $654.
