Nevada State Parks seeks public input to enhance Spooner Lake
Input from planned upgrades at Spooner Lake west of Carson City is sought by Nevada State Parks, which is inviting users to complete an online survey.
The Spooner Unit of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Parks is seeking input on ways to improve the experience at Spooner, with particular emphasis on expanding educational and interpretive opportunities.
They survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/SpoonerLake and is available now through Jan. 31.
Spooner Lake offers fishing, hiking, picnicking and a quick escape into nature. The Spooner backcountry encompasses more than 12,000 acres of forested open space with 50 miles of hiking, equestrian and mountain biking trails.
