Women's Rights Rally
You've already heard. They're redefining rape. Attacking the right to choose. Belittling victims of violence. The war on women is escalating and women's reproductive rights are in question. But the assault on women does not stop there - it extends to the workplace, and is multi-dimensional with political, economic and legal aspects. It's not enough that women already don't have the same rights and privileges as men - the war on women would like to take away what rights and freedoms we currently have gained.
If you're concerned about women's rights, equal pay for equal work, reproductive rights, the safety of women, and an end to an unjust system of patriarchy, you'll want to take part in the national march against the war on women which takes place April 28th. Millions of Americans will take to the streets on this day to demand equality. Come out to show your support for women, mothers, daughters, wives, and sisters!
When: Saturday, April 28th, 3:00 pm
Where: In front of the Legislature, Carson City
What: Bring you own sign, or we'll have some there
