Supervisor candidate to speak via Zoom at Carson Dems' tele-luncheon
Mike Smith, Ward 4 candidate for the Carson City Board of Supervisors, will be the featured speaker at Monday's virtual Democratic luncheon. A retired high school principal, Smith currently serves on the Redevelopment Authority's Citizens Committee and the Symphony Association's Board of Trustees.
In 2018 Mike organized and hosted a series of public discussion forums called Ideas on Tap, and he currently hosts a show on Monday mornings from 11:00 to 11:30 on Reno community radio station KCKQ, 1180 AM. The show streams live at http://listen.streamon.fm/amm.
Sponsored by the Democratic Men's Committee, this event is scheduled for noon on Monday, April 27th, and will be held online via Zoom teleconference due to the temporary shutdown of in-person venues. Those wishing to be on distribution for a link to the teleconference can email Rich Dunn, Men's Committee Events Coordinator, at richdunn@aol.com.
