Concert Under Stars to feature 3 headliners, venue at Carson City's Eagle Valley Golf Course

Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 04/12/2019 - 2:43pmToday, Friday April 12, a public review and workshop regarding the new South Carson Street project, including a new roundabout, is being held at the Studio at Adam’s Hub from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., located at 177 W Proctor Street.
The 60 percent roundabout design along with surrounding design elements will be on display, and forms for public can be found for residents to voice their opinions about the designs.
Carson High teachers and staff receive $10,000 from Carson City church to 'Pay It Forward'

A total of $10,000, parceled out in individual envelopes containing $50 bills, sat neatly organized on a table across the room. Every teacher, custodian, kitchen worker, counselor, para pro and faculty member was given $50 to “Pay It Forward.”
Springtime flowers are in full bloom

She started with just the red lion amaryllis but recently she got the green amaryllis. Amazingly somehow this bulb that had always grown and bloomed as a red lion is now blooming half and half. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a beauty blossoming in our window.

Rain deer in Carson City

Some of the deer were fortunate enough to stay dry under the tree canopies. Others weren't quite so lucky.
