An 18-year-old Carson City man who had already been booked into jail for suspicion of battery and obstruction was served a warrant Monday alleging battery by a prisoner in custody, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

CARSON CITY — Western Nevada College’s Community Education Department is now enrolling students for a variety of fall courses, including old favorites like Clay Club and brand new classes like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Brianna Denison, a 19-year-old Reno girl who was home visiting from Santa Barbara where she studied psychology at the Santa Barbara City College, was murdered in January 2008 after she was abducted from a friend's house in Reno by James Biela, and her body was found in a field on Feb. 15 of the same year.

Now, exactly 10 years apart, her cousin Caitlin Denison, 19, has also gone missing as of January of 2018.
