Accident in Carson City kills motorcyclist

UPDATE 5:30PM: A motorcycle and a vehicle reportedly collided this afternoon in Carson City, killing the motorcyclist. The accident was reported at around 4:50 p.m. at Camballeria Drive and Carson River Road. The accident victim, a man who has not yet been identified, was reported to be "not moving" and Care Flight was called.
The call was cancelled because the motorcyclist died from injuries, according to Carson City emergency personnel at the scene and confirmed by Sheriff Ken Furlong.

Nevada Political Mailers Pour in From Out of State

We are all getting tons of political mailers. And if you look at them closely you might notice that some are from other states. Specifically the Republican National mailers, which in Nevada are actually coming through Idaho and Colorado.

Greater Nevada Credit Union Accepting Applications for Board of Directors

Greater Nevada Credit Union announced that it has three positions available on the Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning March 19, 2013. Applications for the three positions are being accepted until November 12, 2012.

The Board of Directors sets the strategic course for the credit union and oversees its general activities. Directors serve as volunteers and therefore receive no compensation.
