Wednesday, Aug. 16: Things to do in Carson City
This summer is flying by and the fun is heating up. This weekend brings some very special events to Carson City: Friday means the annual free HopeFest Concert at Carson Tahoe Hospital and Saturday will see the Deputy Carl Howell Memorial Music Festival at Battle Born Harley Davidson. That, of course, is just the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy today with live music in McFadden Plaza, at Living the Good Life, and Max Casino. It the return of Wheeled Food Wednesday at the Brewery Arts Center, so leave the cooking up to one of our fabulous local food trucks. Dinosaurs on the big screen are in store at Galaxy Theater: Jurassic Park plays at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
