Carson City schools score well in drinking water results

The water quality threshold for lead in drinking water is expressed as an Action Level, which in this case is 20 micrograms per liter or higher (ug/L, also known as parts per billion).

First firefighting boat of its kind launched at Lake Tahoe

At a cost of nearly $500,000, the vessel is able to fight fires from on board as well as piping water from the lake into water tenders.

2017 Carson River Watershed 'Get on the Bus' Tour

The Carson River Watershed "Get on the Bus" tour will cover a variety of watershed topics and locations from the headwaters in Alpine County, CA to the terminus at the Carson Sink near Fallon.
Grading season at Tahoe begins, but wet conditions may delay some projects
