A Carson City couple face drug, firearm and child neglect charges after a search warrant was served at a home in which, among other things, a loaded handgun was located underneath a couch pillow where their 2-year-old had been sleeping.

Easter Egg Hunt at Marine Housing Coleville

Sierra-Tahoe Branch and Unit #137 of the Fleet Reserve Association hosted the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Marine Corp Mountain Training Center, Housing Area, Coleville, CA which was well received by the children and parents.

The Carson City Senior Center collected more than 550 gifts from area residents and businesses for homebound seniors this year. The Carson City Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels program delivers almost 300 meals to homebound seniors daily. In the past year, the Center has provided over 79,500 hot meals.
