The reading challenge officially ends on Friday, July 31. To finish the final week, the library is hosting a series of exciting events capped-off by a grand prize giveaway.

Carson City Brewfest cancelled due to COVID-19, rescheduled for 2021

The annual event, which funds the Rotary Club’s scholarships and youth programs, featured several dozen regional breweries and distilleries. The club has set the date of June 26, 2021 for the next Brewfest.
Carson City's Nevada State Museum builds upon statewide shutdown with new events, safety guidelines

In the midst of a global pandemic, the Nevada State Museum took an optimistic approach to improve and expand its online network. The shutdown offered new opportunities for museum director Myron Freedman to connect with staff members virtually through Zoom Video Communications and update local visitors on social media.

Team of scuba divers begin underwater cleanup efforts at Donner Lake

Located at 1875 Fair Way, Empire Ranch is putting together a par-3 golf course to go along with its 18-hole championship layout surrounded by more than 250 acres of land that overlooks the Carson River. The par-3 course will be something new for all levels of golfers.
