Helene de Bossier Swanson, who completed a 7,000 mile spiritual pilgrimage on foot traveling across all 15 states that have not yet ratified the Equal Right Amendment will be staffing the table Wednesday during the International Women's Day, Empowering Women event.

Indiana Governor Mike Pence, the vice presidential nominee of Republican candidate Donald Trump, will make a campaign swing through Carson City Monday afternoon.

Pence will appear at town hall in Carson City at a yet-to-be announced location beginning at 3 p.m. and then head to Reno for a rally at 7 p.m., according to a Trump campaign statement.

Carson City public safety agencies set to rally Tuesday for National Night Out at Mills Park

Preparations are underway for Carson City's largest community public safety rally set to happen tonight at Mills Park. The Carson City Sheriff’s Office will hosts its annual National Night Out from 5 p.m. to 8 pm. This will be the 14th year that the Sheriff’s Office has held this free public event that annually draws thousands of participants.

Carson City Grocery Outlet partners with FISH, community members to fight hunger

Grocery Outlet launched its 6th annual Independence From Hunger Food Drive on Friday, a campaign where customers can donate food throughout July to local community service groups and food banks.

Live music can be found at our bigger casinos, and a dj will keep you on the dance floor at Jimmy G’s, Alatte in the Carson Nugget, and Living the Good Life. Sassafras welcomes Bryan McPherson to the stage at 8 pm; you’ll want to get there earlier to take full advantage of their menu.
