The National Weather Service says there's a 30 percent chance today and 70 percent chance Wednesday. Good news for our rather parched city. Among today's featured events are a morning walk and evening hike, a Pony Express celebration in Silver Springs, a viewing of the Hitchcock classic "Rear Window" and more.
Carson City area kids to join 4-H and Google in computer science challenge

This year’s challenge, Code Your World, teaches young people computer science skills through four engaging hands-on activities.

4-H National Youth Science Day is the world's largest youth-led science experiment. Every year thousands of youth are taking part in the National Science Experiment focusing on important STEM topics and issues.
