Cucina Lupo, Carson City’s newest modern Italian restaurant, invites residents to join them for lunch and dinner services starting Tuesday, Nov. 12. Located at 308 N. Curry Street, Cucina Lupo fills the same space the Martin Hotel recently vacated.

Midday has got a bit more variety in Carson City now with the new lunch menu being offered by Living the Good Life.

A Taste of the Good Life is run by Eddie Miller, who has taken it upon herself to offer a tastings menu at the Good Life from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Carson City Kiwanis is serving short stacks for a tall cause at the Carson City Applebee’s on Oct. 5, 2019 from 8 to 10 a.m. The entire proceeds of this event will support the Ralph Denny Memorial Scholarship that awards a one-time $750 scholarship to a local high school graduate each school year. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will hold a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser event to support Special Olympics on Tuesday May 28, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cocomoes restaurant as part of the signature Tip-A-Cop event benefitting Special Olympics in Nevada. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has volunteered to collect tips and help serve restaurant guests.
