In-person Instruction to Resume at Mark Twain Elementary in Carson City

The Carson City School District is pleased to announce Mark Twain Elementary School will resume in-person instruction with teachers and students beginning next week. Teachers and employees are expected to return Monday, Nov. 9, to conduct remote lessons, and students in specific grade levels and assigned cohorts are expected to return beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10, for in-person learning.

November Wine Walk, bike tour, craft fair and more highlight weekend events around Carson City

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of events around the Carson City region. The November Gobble Wine Walk kicks off in downtown Carson City followed by a new “Paths and Pedals” bike tour. The staff member was last in the office on Thursday, October 29, 2020, and was not symptomatic at that time.
