Several fundraisers, including the annual “Share Your Christmas” Food Drive will be available throughout the Carson City, Minden and Reno areas on Friday. You can visit the North Pole safely as part of a drive-thru Santa's Village experience at V&T Railway in Carson City, beginning Friday into the weekend. A living nativity scene will be featured at First United Methodist Church on Saturday and Sunday. Combined with train rides in Virginia City, the state capital will be buzzing with excitement. COVID-19 Thursday briefing for Carson City, Quad counties: 9 deaths, 308 new cases

We are also reporting 308 new cases and 164 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region. This brings the total number of cases to 6,777, with 3,312 recoveries and 68 deaths; 3,397 cases remain active.

Carson City Sheriff's Office: 3 confess to BB gun rampage causing more than $10K in damages

The dollar amount of the damage caused is more than $10,000.

Three suspects have admitted to the crimes and bb guns, pistols and rifles have been recovered, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
Carson City woman arrested for pushing boyfriend after he allegedly crashed her car on purpose

The boyfriend was also arrested by the Nevada Highway Patrol for suspicion of DUI.

Carson City Sheriff's Office investigators are working on at least 20 reports of property damage in Carson City where vandals shot at vehicles, homes, businesses, and the Nevada Secretary of State's Office. On Tuesday morning, both the Carson City Democratic and Republican headquarters were also targets of vandals.
