Carson City area casinos see September gaming profits drop, Lake Tahoe sees big win
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Thu, 10/31/2013 - 8:13amCasinos in Carson City and Carson Valley report a decline of nearly 4.2 percent in September gaming profits over 2012 figures but just up the hill at Lake Tahoe, the casinos at Stateline saw gaming "win" climb by 23 percent, Nevada Gaming Control Board reports Thursday.
Overall gaming in the Silver State for September was healthy, with a 7.4 percent gaming "win" with profits of $958,805,870. For the fiscal year, July 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2013, gaming related profits has increased 2.97 percent.
Carson City area casinos see slight increase in August gaming revenue

Statewide, Nevada reported a total “gaming win” of $955,281,446 for the month, an 11.17 percent increase compared to August 2012.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville and Minden took in $8,763,685 in gaming revenue for the month which led to the increase over August, 2012 winnings.
Carson City area casinos see 3 percent decrease in July gaming profits

Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except Stateline, saw a gaming "win" of $8,435,440 for the month compared to July 2012, which saw a "win" of $8,700,186. The decrease amounts to 3.04 percent.
Casinos at South Shore Lake Tahoe led the Silver State in gaming profits for July. Casinos in Stateline took in $32,371,760 in gaming-related profits or "win" compared to July 2012, a 9.23 percent increase.
Carson City casinos see 2 percent increase in June gaming profits, statewide down 4.8 percent

Carson City casinos, which include Garderville, Minden and Topaz, took in a gaming "win" of $8,396,690 for a 2.03 percent increase compared to June 2012. Carson City area casinos are down in gaming profits by 1.56 percent for the fiscal year.
Carson City casinos report 7.4 percent increase in May gaming profits
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Thu, 07/11/2013 - 8:01amCarson City area casinos saw its gaming profits increase by 7.4 percent in May, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reports Thursday. Statewide, casinos saw an overall increase of 1.37 percent for the month.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except Lake Tahoe report a gaming "win" or profit for the month that totals $8,858,762 over May 2012 figures.
Casinos in the south shore Lake Tahoe area of Stateline also did well for the month, posting a gaming profit increase of 9.7 percent or $14,632,643 over 2012 figures for the month.
Carson City gaming profits down in April, Reno and Lake Tahoe see double-digit increases

Statewide, gaming profits in Nevada fell slightly by 0.16 percent. Nevada casinos made $854,293,047 for the month. Carson City area casinos, which include those in Minden and Gardnerville, fell 2.66 percent, taking in April gaming profits of $7,883,290.
Reno casinos reported a gaming "win" of $44,143,808, up 15.3 percent over April 2012 figures.
Nevada casino March gaming revenues up, Carson City down by 2 percent

Statewide, Nevada casinos fared better, with an increase of 7.04 percent over March 2012 "gaming win" revenues. For the fiscal year, gaming win is in the plus at 2.79 percent.
Carson City area casinos include those in Minden, Gardnerville and all other areas of Douglas County except South Shore Lake Tahoe. Carson City and Carson Valley casinos in March took in $8,283,845 compared to $8,454,507 in March 2012.

Carson City casino December gaming revenue down, Lake Tahoe casino 'win' soars

Carson City and Carson Valley area casinos pulled in $7,862,056 from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31 a decrease of 4.47 percent from December 2011 when casinos gaming revenues took in $8,230,093. The area surveyed includes Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except Stateline at Lake Tahoe.

November figures for South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos show the largest spike statewide in earnings or "win" at 26.63 percent over November 2011 profits, according to the board. South Lake Tahoe casinos took in $17,734,866 in November 2012 compared to $14,005,506 in 2011.
Nevada Casinos Eke Out Another Modest Gain In October

It was the third consecutive month of modest gaming wins for the state.
For the 2013 fiscal year that began July 1, the gaming win has increased 4.6 percent.
Football Betting Pushes Gaming Revenues Up In September

Clark County reported a 3.7 percent gain, with the Las Vegas Strip posting a slight 1.2 percent increase with $496.8 million in revenues, the monthly report released today shows.
Statewide gaming profits up, Carson City area casinos remain flat

Statewide nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $892,748,756 for the month of September, a 3.33 percent increase compared to September 2011. For the fiscal year (July 1 through Sept. 30, 2012), gaming win has increased 5.63 percent.

The Nevada State Gaming Control Board Enforcement Division, working with the New York Police Department, the FBI and the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, participated in the service of search warrants and the arrest of eight men from the Henderson and Las Vegas areas.
Nevada Casinos Report Modest Decline In August Revenue Report

Clark County was down 3.4 percent with $727 million in revenues, but the Strip was off only 1.2 percent with $490.9 million taken in on table games and slots.
Carson City area gaming profits see August slide

Casinos in Carson City and the valley side of Douglas County, including Minden and Gardnerville, took in $8,650,776 in August. Last year, during the same period, the casinos took in $8,801,148.
Statewide, casinos saw a 3.11 decrease in "gaming win" over the same period last year, the state's gaming regulator reports. Nevada casinos took in gaming profits of $859,240,472 for the month of August. In August 2011 it was $886,835,278.

Nevada Gaming Win Exceeds $1 Billion In July, Up 17 Percent Statewide
Submitted by Nevada News Bureau on Mon, 09/10/2012 - 2:01pmCARSON CITY – Nevada casinos had an impressive month in July, taking in just over $1 billion in revenue from gamblers for a 17 percent gain over July 2011, the state Gaming Control Board reported today.
It was the second $1 billion month this calendar year, which has not occurred in Nevada since 2008, said Michael Lawton, senior research analyst for the state gaming agency.
“A $1 billion month is a number that we like to see, it’s a very strong number,” he said.
Carson City area casino 'win' dips slightly in July

Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,005,876,336 for July, a 16.95 percent increase compared to July 2011, when licensees reported a gaming win of $860,076,138. The Las Vegas Strip was the big taker for Nevada casinos, with a 27.51 percent gain over 2011 figures.

The win was about $53 million less than June 2011 as casinos tried to build on the win in June 2011, which was up 16 percent over June 2010.
Carson City area gaming revenue for June up slightly from last year

Carson City area casinos, which includes Minden and Gardnerville in Douglas County, took in in $8,229,305 in June compared to $8,136,730 during the same period last year.
Meanwhile South Shore Lake Tahoe area casinos posted a 17 percent increase for the month of June, taking in a "win" of $16,555,235 in June of this year compared to $14,128,801 during the same period in 2011.

Nevada Gaming Win Rebounds In April Due To Strength In Clark County

Clark County overall was up 8.9 percent in April to $743.7 million while the rest of the state did not fare as well. Washoe County was down 15.5 percent, South Lake Tahoe was down 4.4 percent and Elko County was down 2.3 percent.
