Before that, go on a treasure hunt at one of two marketplaces occurring in Carson City today, including the Flying Pig Flea Market and the Seventh Day Adventist Rummage Sale.
Tuesday Evening Hike - Sonoma Park hosted by Muscle Powered
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sat, 02/23/2019 - 2:09pmJoin our free leader-led hikes each week to enjoy Nevada outdoors! Meet at 1003 Sonoma Street corner of Sonoma and Fremont. We will walk through the neighborhood. Bring a flashlight. Water and sturdy closed-toed shoes are required.
For the winter, these hikes moved onto paved sidewalks and paths in Carson City and will be 4-6 miles in length. If it is raining or snowing, hikes will be cancelled.

Ride will normally consist of two loops which are 10-15 miles long each. The ride pace will vary depending on rider level, but will usually be about a 12-16 mph pace. This is a "no drop" ride so no one is left behind.
All riders must have a bicycle in safe working condition, a helmet, and closed toed shoes.

New director joins Carson City's Children's Museum of Northern Nevada

"We were delighted to extend an offer to Mr. Korn because he had extensive fundraising experience as well as an MA in Non Profit Arts Management" says Casey Gilles, Board President.
