The 2020 Jazz & Beyond Music and Art Festival will include the second annual Carson City Open Studios Tour with multiple locations. Hosted by the Carson City Classic Cinema Club, the Brewery Arts Center is holding a drive-in movie showing of the 1950s classic “Shane” on Saturday. Carson City women's shelter receives $2,500 holiday gift from Greater Nevada Credit Union

A Christmas gift of $2,500 was presented Tuesday to Carson City's Advocates to End Domestic Violence by Greater Nevada Credit Union. The donation is to help assist victims of domestic battery in the community.

The fun-filled event aims to educate people about orphaned kittens in shelters, provide gifts for kittens, and enhance the group of Foster Caregivers — the volunteers who offer temporary homes to underage kittens and puppies.
