Carson City Library Presents: How the West Was Rung
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 05/29/2015 - 5:53pmOn Saturday, June 6, the Carson City Library will present “Tintabulations,” a community handbell ensemble from Reno in the library Digitorium, beginning at noon.
The concert, entitled “How The West Was Rung,” is an homage to the ensemble's Summer 2015 tour of their home state of Nevada in celebration of its Sesquicentennial, as well as a reference to their musicianship quickly becoming known in the handbell world as "west coast style."

Hansen was born in Reno, Nevada. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is married to Alexis with 8 children. He works as a plumbing contractor. He was a talk radio host on station KKOH in Reno for five years as well. He was fired due to outrage over comments he made to the effect that the United States should not have such a strong relationship with Israel.[1]
