The weekend is nearly here and your continued generosity never ceases to amaze. Ahead Friday is the annual KTVN Share Your Christmas Drive-By Food Drive held locally at the Governor's Mansion and at Minden's Carson Valley Inn. It is also the 6th annual Project Empty Bowls at Carson Mall, which has become a local soup for the soul favorite stop.

Light snow showers will continue today and and pick up tonight with less than an inch possible. As always be careful out on the roads. You'll be able to warm up at a number of venues today, including a holiday swing party with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Casino Fandango's new Grand Ballroom and at the Carson City School District Orchestra Program concert at the community center.
