Submitted by Kirk Caraway on Mon, 05/10/2010 - 9:43amThe developer chosen for the Carson Nugget Redevelopment Project will be on hand tonight to answer questions about the project.
Rick Oshinski, CEO of Sacramento-based P3 Development, will appear before the Carson Nugget Development Advisory Committee tonight in the Community Center's Sierra Room.
Carson Now plans to show live video of the meeting, as well as hosting a discussion forum.
Many questions are sure to arise, concerning the details on the project and its scope, as well as the developer and how the company was chosen.
As I've been talking to people about this project, I've collected a number of questions, that I put together below.

Tammy Westergard leaving business development office for library position
Submitted by admin on Tue, 05/04/2010 - 8:16amTammy Westergard is leaving her job as deputy director of the Carson City Office of Business Development to take a similar position at the Carson City Library.
The rumor has been floating around for a while, and Tammy confirmed it to me this morning.
Moving over to the library probably will not remove her entirely from the world of business development, considering the library's central role in the Nugget Project.
We will have more details on this change soon.
