Carson High School Theatre Arts to show The Addams Family Musical April 11-14
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Thu, 04/11/2019 - 1:31pmThe Carson High Theatre Arts department is proud to present "The Addams Family Musical" Friday, April 12 at 7 pm, April 13 at 2 pm and 7 pm, and April 14 at 2 pm.
"The Addams Family" is about a ghoulish American family who revolve around darkness and death. Wednesday, the daughter, falls in love with Lucas, a boy from Ohio. After many musical numbers, the ending is something quite spectacular. (I don't want to spoil it for you!)

From library presentations, a TV show casting call at the Carson Nugget, an afternoon hike, to a train history presentation, a book signing at the Brewery Arts Center, a CHS theater performance and the Carson City movie screening premier of "The Mustang" filmed at the historic Nevada State Prison, there's something for everyone. The times will be Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 30 at 2 p.m., another show on Saturday March 30 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 31 at 2 p.m.
'Disney's The Jungle Book Kids' is about a boy named Mowgli who lives in a jungle with many other animals. He is being hunted down by the mean tiger, Shere Kahn. Come see the show as you watch Mowgli's fantastic journey to defeating Shere Kahn.

Topics to discuss will include the Superintendent’s Report, which will go over the NJROTC Orienteering Team and the report from the national competition. In addition, the Carson City High School Cheer Team and the recognition of third place winner at the USA Spirit Nationals Competition will be discussed.

Carson Victory Rollers hold first 2019 bout against Nor Cal

True to their name, the Victory Rollers cruised to a 154-66 win.
Saturday's event was a doubleheader. The first bout was a scrimmage for the Junior Victory Rollers.
