WELL BEING Massage and Functional Fitness (http://www.carsoncityfitness.com) is celebrating its new location at 1851 S Roop St, #145 in Grand Opening Style on SATURDAY October 6th, from 8 am until 1 pm. The business is owned and run by Brad and Alina Paula and offers a complete health and fitness experience including massage, personal training, group classes, obstacle course and other specialty training programs, and nutritional coaching. The couple has been in business in Carson City for four years but only (since the first of the year) recently at their new space.

Carson City Fire Prevention Division submits artwork for statewide poster contest

Carson City Fire Department is participating in the statewide annual State of Nevada 2018 Fire Prevention Week Poster Contest. In conjunction with the Nevada State Fire Marshal, Fire Departments statewide, and the Fire Prevention Association of Nevada, the Carson City Fire Department, Fire Prevention Division is preparing for the week-long campaign promoting fire safety education and awareness.

A homeless man was found dead Monday evening in a field in the area of Long and State streets. There were no signs of foul play and an autopsy is underway, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.
