A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday afternoon in the area of Nevada and Park streets for providing a false statement to Special Enforcement Team deputies. He gave a false name to prevent from being arrested by deputies on a warrant they legally were unable to arrest him on.

Three Carson City residents were arrested Friday at their residence in the 2300 block of Columbia Way on several charges including: suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failing to register.

A 35-year-old Dayton man was arrested Friday, 6:14 p.m. in the 1600 block of Airport Road for misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
