The Care Mobile welcomes children of all ages for dental cleanings, exams, x-rays and more. All dental insurances are accepted, including Medicaid and Nevada Check-up. A sliding fee scale is available for those without insurance.

Kick Butts Day targets Mills Park in Carson City

The Partnership Carson City youth advocacy club gathered an estimated 3,500 butts in two hours Wednesday afternoon as part of the nationwide campaign to raise awareness about smoking dangers and cessation resources.
Nevada doubles statewide school breakfast participation

The scorecard ranks all 50 states and the District of Columbia on participation of low-income children in the School Breakfast Program.

Carson City leaders recognized at 2016 Nevada Bicycle and Pedestrian Leaders Awards program

Donna Inversin of Muscle Powered and Jeremy Vican of Carson Valley Trails Association were selected as advocacy and advocates of the year; Carson City Visitor Bureau Executive Director Joel Dunn was picked in the division of Trails Association Event Planning Promotion for his work organizing Epic Rides and Cortney Bloomer, organizer of Western Nevada Safe Routes to School, was honored with a Special Achievement award for her work.

The check was presented on behalf of the Branch and its Ladies Auxiliary Unit, whose members, together, hosted events raising the funds to aid the Network's efforts in preventing suicide through support, education and advocacy.
