Carson City Public Works to haul yard debris
As trees continue to shed their leaves, Carson City Public Works asks citizens to take pride in the city by pruning trees, shrubs and raking up leaves. Public Works will pick up your leaf, limbs and yard debris free of charge for a certain time. See the flier above.
The leaves must be bagged and limbs must be less than six feet long and no larger than four inches in diameter, then tied in bundles. Public Works is limiting the material it picks up to vegetation only — leaves, limbs, prunings — and cannot accept household garbage, old appliances, furniture or lumber.
Call Carson City Public Works at 887-2355 to be put on the list for free pick up.
