Carson High JROTC hosts second annual Army-Navy football game
Carson High School’s Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) will host the Douglas High School Army JROTC cadets in the second annual Army versus Navy flag football game Saturday, Nov. 19 on the Carson High School football field.
Organizers of the game said they are hoping to make this an annual tradition for years to come.
“It gives the cadets the opportunity to compete against each other all the while sharing a common niche – the JROTC program,” said CHS Navy JROTC Chief Instructor Dan Ingram.
Carson High won the inaugural game last year at Douglas.
Gates for this year’s game open at noon on Nov. 19 and kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
