Carson City weather: Thunderstorms possible through Wednesday
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop Tuesday and Wednesday across the Sierra and portions of western Nevada, according to the National Weather Service.
Localized heavy rainfall and gusty outflow winds can be expected with these storms, especially Tuesday as an upper level low draws ample moisture in the region and provides enough instability and forcing to enhance the threat for flash flooding through this evening.
Drier weather is expected to return late in the week as high pressure strengthens. High temperatures are forecasted to reach back into the mid to upper 90s across western Nevada, according to the weather service.
