Carson City man arrested for domestic battery, false imprisonment
Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested Joseph G Lopez, 20, Thursday afternoon in the 3600 block of Stanton Drive after his girlfriend reported that he choked her, grabbed her by the hair and then prevented her from leaving her apartment or calling 911 by pulling the phone cord out of the wall.
