Public hearing scheduled July 18 in Carson City on Nevada guardianship rules
The Supreme Court of Nevada has scheduled a public hearing in Carson City on Wednesday, July 18, 2 p.m. to review the work of the Commission to Study the Creation and Administrations of Guardianships.
The hearing will be video conferenced to the courtroom in Las Vegas. This will a formal opportunity for individuals to comment on the First Interim Report filed with the Supreme Court on May 30. 2018 by the Guardianship Commission.
On August 2, 2017, the Supreme Court of Nevada created the permanent Guardianship Commission to address issues of concern to those persons who would be subject to the guardianship statutes, rules and processes in Nevada.
