Kirsten Yamaoka, 21, of Reno is missing. She was last seen on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 when she left work early after falling ill. She spoke to her father on the morning of Feb. 23 and has not been heard from or seen since.
There are no clothing or belongings missing from her home to indicate she was going anywhere. She drives a 2004 Black Chevy Trailblazer with tinted windows. It is believed the vehicle was spotted in Carson City on Feb. 24, 2017 but Kirsten was not in the vehicle.
Her phone goes straight to voicemail and her social media accounts are inactive. This is very uncharacteristic of Kirsten and her family believes she is in danger.
Kirsten is 21 years old Caucasian/Asian female, 5'7" tall and 140 pounds. She has a tattoo of music notes behind her ear and one on her foot that reads, "Dear God make me a bird."
Her family will be offering a reward but the amount has yet to be determined.
Let's find this girl and get her home safely to her family.
Call Reno Police Department 775-334-2677 or 911; Case Number 17-4089.
