New TV production company formed in Carson City
A new Carson City-based company is forming to create television shows targeting Baby Boomers. The Rockin 60's is a classic rock trivia game show that will offer cash prizes and products for people who can answer trivia questions, name 60's music and identify 60's photos as part of this tv show.
The company, formed by SJ Rose, stated that research shows Baby Boomers represent the generation with the greatest buying power in the history of our country.
Baby Boomers watch more television than any other age group. The age demographic controls 70 percent of the total net worth of American households which amounts to about $5 trillion.
They account for over 40 percent of all consumer demand. Why does this matter? Because those companies are: Harley Davidson, Levis, Volkswagon, Cadillac, Absolut Vodka, Pepsi, Coach, Club Med, Frye boots, Noxema and alot more. They collectively spend hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising spots and this is who will buy our ads. The show is completely developed, questions and answers, set design, decor, potential hosts, budgets, sales forecasts and complete advertisers list.
It has been reviewed by TV broadcasters and gets high marks for its challenging and fun style. The last step is to film pilots to deliver to networks and this is projected to be in March.
Planetearthtvproductions.com and therockin60s.com is soliciting equity partners for this and other shows in development.
