Frances Humphrey Lecture Series at Nevada State Museum: A Brief History of Underwear
An interesting and engaging lecture about our most intimate attire, underwear, will be featured at the Nevada State Museum in Carson City on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Starting with the Egyptians and through the millennia, this lecture reveals fascinating facts about corsetry, drawers (panties and shorts), petticoats, bustles, farthingales and other undergarments men and women have worn throughout western civilization. We all wear undies…..come find out the WEAR and WHY of underwear.
