Popular Squeeze In restaurant coming to Carson City

Breakfast fans will rejoice, the popular Squeeze In restaurant known in Reno and Truckee, as well as locations now in California, will be coming to Carson City inside the new downtown development being built for retail and residential spaces on Curry Street.
Dayton wild horses rounded up Tuesday by BLM, another planned Friday

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management confirmed Thursday that its staff conducted a roundup Tuesday of what the agency determined to be "nuisance" wild horses that had been reported the previous week in the Dayton area and plan to take the rest Friday, Aug. 3.
Carson City Airport awarded $845,000 in federal money for infrastructure

The Carson City Airport has been awarded grants totaling $845,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration to pay for road and taxiway repairs and to install weather reporting equipment.

Carson City sees blue skies, expected gusty winds ahead prompt Reg Flag Warning

Under somewhat clearer skies, gusty winds and low humidity are expected to arrive Thursday afternoon, which has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Red Flag warning from 1 to 9 p.m. and a fire weather watch through Saturday.

The Washoe Zephyr is a double-sided coin. The breeze is a welcome reprieve from hot summer afternoons and can do wonders clearing the smoke from the valley. The Numbers Month to Month and Year to Year:
The median sales price for Carson City, NV homes for sale was $292,000 in July 2018 compared to $315,000 during June 2018 and $259,950 in July of 2017.
The number of Carson City, NV homes that sold was 57 in July 2018 vs. 80 in June 2018 and 72 that sold July of 2017.
