Live music, karaoke, and DJ dance parties can be found at all your favorite water holes and hot spots. Meet artist, Mike Bond, at Carson City Art Gallery at their monthly reception.

The Carson City Historic Resources Commission is proud to present CAMP, the Commission Assistance Mentoring Program by the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions. CAMP is a two-day Historic Preservation training series for commissioners, professionals, property owners and the general public! It will be held at the Carson City Community Center on Friday, April 28, 2017 and Saturday, April 29, 2017.

New food items introduced at Greater Nevada Field in 2017

The Reno Aces Baseball Club and Professional Sports Catering have revamped and reinvented the menus at Greater Nevada Field in 2017, officials announced Thursday. Additional game day concepts for the 2017 season include numerous brisket and bacon options, specialty hot dogs for every opponent, and an 1868 Burger, inspired by Reno 1868 FC.

Nevada’s minimum wage and daily overtime rates will not increase in 2017

CARSON CITY — The Office of the Labor Commissioner has released the annual bulletins for Nevada’s minimum wage and daily overtime requirements that will take effect July 1, 2017. The rates for the upcoming year will remain unchanged from last year.

This program is designed to offer children a variety of art classes taught by professional art instructors as well as offer family retreats to create artwork together. Our Saturday Art Classes are held once each month with each teaching a different topic or discipline.
