They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We’ve survived the freakish lamb-lion hybrid of March and we’ve survived the week, so let’s celebrate. Laugh it up with Kathleen Dunbar or Geechy Guy; Carson Comedy takes over the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall as well as their regular venue inside the Nugget. Live music, karaoke, and DJ dance parties can be found at all your favorite water holes and hot spots. Meet artist, Mike Bond, at Carson City Art Gallery at their monthly reception.

April 28, 2017 - 9:00am The Carson City Historic Resources Commission is proud to present CAMP, the Commission Assistance Mentoring Program by the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions. CAMP is a two-day Historic Preservation training series for commissioners, professionals, property owners and the general public! It will be held at the Carson City Community Center on Friday, April 28, 2017 and Saturday, April 29, 2017.
New food items introduced at Greater Nevada Field in 2017

Additional game day concepts for the 2017 season include numerous brisket and bacon options, specialty hot dogs for every opponent, and an 1868 Burger, inspired by Reno 1868 FC.
Nevada’s minimum wage and daily overtime rates will not increase in 2017

St. Mary's Art Center IMAGINATIONS Children's Art Program

We invite children and families to experience our new IMAGINATIONS Children's Art Program. This program is designed to offer children a variety of art classes taught by professional art instructors as well as offer family retreats to create artwork together. Our Saturday Art Classes are held once each month with each teaching a different topic or discipline.

April 8th - Printmaking Class I (ages 13-18)
May 13th - Printmaking Class II (ages 13-18)
June 24th - FUNdamentals of Color: Giant Pinwheels (ages 7-12)

Alison Lewis the Marketing Director for Sierra Foot & Ankle, delivers pet food donations to Liz Patterson Manager of F.I.S.H. and presents a check to Genevieve Frederick Founder/President of “Pets of the Homeless”.
Sierra Foot & Ankle will continue as a permanent donation site for “Pets of the Homeless” at 2350 S. Carson, Suite 3 in Carson City and 1516 Virginia Ranch Rd in Gardnerville.
