Carson City murder suspect kills himself in standoff with Reno police

Murder suspect Michael Dylan Brentlinger was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Reno park after a standoff with police there, confirms Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

A man has been found shot and possibly dead in a Reno park, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said. The man may be the suspect in Saturday's fatal shooting.

Carson City Sheriff's Office detectives are on their way to Reno this afternoon. It is believed the suspect in Saturday morning's killing, Brentlinger, was found shot, possibly fatally self-inflicted, in the area of 630 Manzanita in Reno.
