Coldwell Banker Select in Reno has more recognition under its belt with one of their agents earning a very prestigious designation in the real estate industry.
Kathy Williams, of the McCarran office, has earned the impressive title of Previews Property Specialist for the Coldwell Banker Previews International® division, an enormous milestone in the world of real estate. To become Previews Certified Kathy had to show top-notch experience and service in helping her clients buy and sell luxury properties, as well as attend luxury training.

Halloween blood drive Wednesday at Carson City Sheriff's Office and Courthouse

Hosted by the Carson City Sheriff's Office, all donors get to pick a pumpkin pumpkin from a patch, and donors will be entered into a drawing to win one of two $500 gift cards. Not a bad deal, even if you don't win the big prize, your donation will save lives.

Blinky Man, Carson City’s costumed, night-time, bicycling-with-lights event, will ride this Halloween. Each year, Halloween at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City attracts thousands of trick-or-treaters and celebrators. Visitors flock to the area to receive candy from the Governor plus enjoy a street party which includes haunted houses, jugglers, stilt-walkers, horse patrols and more.
Carson City man returned from Idaho to face felony charge
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 10/29/2013 - 11:30amA 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested in Boise, Idaho and faces a felony charge relating to an assault where a witness was prevented from reporting a crime and a motor vehicle was taken, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
Adam Craig Meservey was extradited on Oct. 24 to face one felony charge after a May 2012 warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. He also faces a gross misdemeanor warrant charge of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor warrant charge of assault, issued in February 2012 out of Carson City Justice Court.
Bail: $8,000.
Carson City restaurant and food inspection report

This week's inspections restaurants, fast food restaurants, the kitchen at the Carson City Community Center, a retail food producer, a convenience store and a bar and lounge.
