Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called Monday morning to a vehicle accident in area of College Parkway and I-580 off ramp.

A man and woman were arrested Friday evening at 5:13 p.m. in the 3300 block of U.S. Highway 50 East on charges of felony drug trafficking, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported.

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol were called Wednesday morning to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 50 East near Detroit Road.

UPDATE: 12:45PM: The pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle Saturday morning at U.S. Highway 50 East and Airport Road has died, the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) Northern Command reported on Twitter.
No other details about the crash are available at this time as NHP continues its investigation of the incident.

The Nevada Highway Patrol reports there was a fatal crash Monday evening involving a pedestrian in the area of Highway 50 and Red Rock in Mound House, east of Carson City.

Carson City Sheriff's deputies and Nevada Highway Patrol are on scene of a reported two-vehicle hit-and-run accident that occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 East and Airport Road.

UPDATE 5:35PM: The Tahoe Douglas Bomb Squad has removed what turned out to be a plastic baggie that contained 5 to 6 blasting caps, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Sgt. Brian Mays. The explosives were brought to the parking lot area of College Parkway and Goni by a person who found them. Law enforcement was notified. All caution tape has been brought down and business has resumed back to normal, said Mays. The blasting caps will be detonated by the bomb squad at a secure location.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office and Fire Department were called late Monday afternoon to the area of College Parkway and Goni Road for explosives found in a business parking lot area between Sonic and First Independent Bank.

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded late Tuesday morning to a report of a gas line break in the area across from Pick-n-Pull, 7777 Highway 50 East.

Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) and Carson City Firefighter-Paramedics are on scene of a two-vehicle rear-end accident causing some reported injury, extent of which is unknown at this time.

Emergency crews report minor damage to the involved vehicles, which are partially blocking the intersection. Motorists in the area should use extra caution and consider an alternate route of travel as there may be some delays.

UPDATE 8:58AM: Lyon County emergency crews were called to a second vehicle crash, this time involving as many as five vehicles, in the westbound lanes of Dayton Hill close to the area of the first crash that happened earlier this morning.
