Here is the South Carson Street Project construction update for Nov. 2-6
— South Carson Street is open with one lane in each direction from 5th to Fairview.
— Between Fairview and Snyder: South Carson Street for southbound traffic has two lanes open.
— Between Fairview and Snyder: South Carson Street for northbound traffic has one lane open.
Elsewhere around Carson City, the following roadwork is scheduled for Nov. 2-8, 20202. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Kit Sierra Way will have periodic closures between Nye Lane and Sherman Lane, Tuesday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for replacement of the waterlines. Local access will be provided.
— Little Lane will be closed in the westbound direction, Monday through Sunday, all day, for construction of a development project. Eastbound traffic will remain open but may experience temporary delays.
— Mayflower Way will have periodic closures between Nye Lane and Sherman Lane, Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for replacement of the waterlines. Local access will be provided.
— Retail Court will be closed east of College Parkway, Monday through Friday, all day. Access to the businesses will be maintained. There may also be periodic closures and detours to the multi-use path between Emerson Drive and Retail Court.
— Robinson Street will be closed to all traffic except school buses from Saliman Road to the east end, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm for construction associated with new development.
— Roop Street will be closed in the southbound direction only between Fairview Drive and Industrial Park Drive, Monday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for utility work and roadway reconstruction.
Sherman Lane will have periodic closures between Airport Road and College Parkway, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for replacement of the waterlines. Local access will be provided.
— Telegraph Street will be closed between S. Carson Street and Fall Street, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for reconstruction of the roadway and sidewalk.
— Plaza Street will be closed from Proctor Street to Telegraph Street, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Please also use pedestrian detours for your safety.
— Viking Way will be closed between Sherman Lane and Nye Lane, Monday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for ongoing waterline work. Local access will be provided.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Airport Road will have single lane closures and flagger controls between Butti Way and Desatoya Drive, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility installation work.
— Airport Road will have flagger controls between US 50 and Minonee Drive, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for utility cover adjustments and striping.
— Airport Road will have narrowed and shifted lanes between Champion Street and Sherman Lane, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility work.
— Goni Road will have lane restrictions between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road, Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm for utility work.
— Fairview Drive will have lane restrictions and single lane closures between Carson Street and Roop Street, Monday and Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm for roadway repaving.
— The intersection of Fairview and Drive and Roop Street will be flagger controlled, Monday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Suggest alternate route.
