Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) invites the job hunters to attend its Fall Community Job Fair on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026. The fair takes place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the large gym at the Carson City Community Center. Local job seekers can drop in to connect with top employers from a variety of fields.
Help for Job Seekers
Want to get ready for the job fair? CCHHS is hosting free open office hours the week before the event. You can stop by on Tuesday, Sept. 29 or Thursday, Oct. 1. During these times, you can meet 1-on-1 with a case manager. They will help you write a great resume and practice your interview skills.
On the day of the job fair, remember to:
- Dress in professional clothes.
- Bring copies of your updated resume.
- Be ready to fill out job applications on the spot.
Information for Employers
Are you a local business owner looking for great staff? Booth space is completely free, but you must sign up early. CCHHS can only accept the first 60 employers who register. If your booth needs electricity, make sure to sign up right away. Outlets are limited and given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
