UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Wednesday morning to a head-on collision involving a semi and a pickup on Arrowhead Drive and Lamotte Road. One person was taken to the hospital.
Just before 10 a.m. emergency crews responded to the collision said to involve a vehicle and a semi. According to CCFD Chief Kevin Nyberg, one person was injured and taken to the hospital.
Convair Drive, Arrowhead and Lamotte streets were closed around the accident scene.
People should avoid the area. Motorists should find alternative routes.
This is at the third vehicle accident in Carson City this morning. We will update as information becomes available.
